So the latest escapade in our truck breakdown saga happened today. One of my guys calls me from 15 miles away and lets me know he cant drive the truck back cause it's broke. One of the pulleys on one of the belts is moments away from giving up the ghost - it was the death squeals that brought it to his attention...
So I flew on down there and took a look. Here is what I found.
That first picture is a little bit confusing for some, so here is one that shows the damage a little clearer...
So now we can either gamble our truck engine along with various other (belted together) parts, or we can play our AAA card. We told them what truck we needed towed, and they showed up in what looked like a totally miniature towtruck. Not to be scoffed, our towmaster Farooq actually got our truck up onto his (barely) and he and I chatted all the way back to our hometown.
Just so you could fully appreciate the audacity of the situation.... I took a photo :)
